Beginnings in Life and Career
Travis Scott was born in Houston, Texas. His grandmother homeschooled him till he was six years old in the modestly affluent South Park district of Houston. He then moved to Missouri City, a middle-class suburb southwest of Houston, to live with his parents.
He completed Elkins High School and went to the University of Texas at San Antonio but dropped out during his first year to seek a musical career.
